In the beginningIn the beginning of all existence, there was but one world in one universe in one reality. It was a world or perfect order and balance, a world that knew not chaos or disharmony. Above and below and all around was naught but grey, an universe where nothing moved save for one thing, a keeper if you may, omnipotent, and in as perfect balance as the world of which it strode. Where its right foot fell, life sprang forth from the grey and empty void, and when its left foot came down, what had been created exactly seven steps before was unwound from existence, utterly destroyed. And so the universe maintained its perfect balance this way for millenia untold, but the keeper grew restless, longing for creation more permanent that the constructs of its aimless wanderings, death and destruction more vibrant than the inevitable fall of it's other foot, for another will beyond its hold.In the beginning by iftheyaskiwasnthere
And so the keeper spoke to Existence, all of creation and destruction, the wellspring of the universe and all th
TDW: Primary Village part 2I had never seen a true digivolution before, and it was spectacular. I had seen digimon switch from in-training to rookie and back, but this was different. This was not switching to a form already possessed. This was the creation of a new form entirely, the unlocking of the next stage in a digimon's power, an awe inspiring event to be certain. But then there was me, standing at the edge of the village, unable to do anything but wait and guard the meager stash of eggs we had managed to liberate. It itched and stung. I wasn't even allowed to infiltrate and try to sneak out a few eggs to add the our side. They had told me it was too risky without the presence of an allied digimon to protect me. The very idea caused me to cough out a derisive laugh; as if a runner like me would be caught by those lumbering brutes.TDW: Primary Village part 1 by iftheyaskiwasnthere
I turned back to examine my bounty. There were perhaps two dozens eggs in our possession out of the no doubt hundreds within the village. We had stolen them away from the more dangerous areas of fighting so as to keep them from ge
